01 Accepting these terms
By creating an account, installing the extension, or otherwise using Apply To It, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use Apply To It.
02 Alpha status
Read this one
Apply To It is currently in limited Alpha. The Service is provided as-is and as-available, may change or break without notice, and may lose data or go offline. Do not rely on Apply To It as your only record of your job search. Alpha data may be reset, deleted, or not carried forward into a later production version of the Service. We appreciate your patience and bug reports while we test and improve the Service.
03 Your account
You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Give us accurate information, don't share your account, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
04 Acceptable use
Use Apply To It for its intended purpose — managing your own job search. You agree not to:
- Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate third-party sites' terms while using the Service.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute data obtained through the Service at scale.
- Reverse-engineer, attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Use the Service to build a competing product or to harass, spam, or harm others.
- Upload content you don't have the right to upload, or anything malicious.
05 Captured data & third-party sites
The extension captures job-posting data from third-party sites that you choose to visit. Those sites have their own terms, and your use of them is between you and them. You're responsible for ensuring your use of Apply To It on a given site is permitted. We capture only what's described in our User Data & Limited Use disclosure.
06 Your content
Your resumes, notes, and other content remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you — for example, to run a resume comparison, summarize a job posting, or display your saved jobs. We don't claim ownership of your content, and Apply To It does not use your resumes or job history to train its own AI models.
07 AI output
Fit scores, summaries, keyword matches, and suggestions are generated by automated models and are provided for guidance only. They can be wrong or incomplete. Apply To It does not provide career, legal, employment, or hiring advice, and you shouldn't treat AI output as a guarantee of any hiring outcome. Always use your own judgment.
08 Plans & billing
During Alpha, billing is not live and access is provided free of charge unless we clearly state otherwise. Apply To It may display plan names, usage limits, or feature tiers for testing and product development purposes. If paid billing launches, we will show prices clearly and ask for your consent before charging you. Plan limits, features, and prices may change as the product evolves.
09 Our intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, branding, and the “Apply To It” name and logo — belongs to Apply To It and its creators. These terms don't grant you any right to use our brand, copy the Service, or reuse our software except as needed for normal use of the product.
10 Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. See data deletion for more information. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if needed to protect the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. We'll give reasonable notice where we can.
11 Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, secure, or that it will help you get a job.
12 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apply To It, its creators, operators, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, goodwill, or hiring outcomes arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US$50.
13 Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.
Apply To It is intended for use by residents of the United States. We do not target the Service to, or design it to comply with the data-protection or consumer laws of, the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions outside the United States. If you use Apply To It from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
